These dogs make great pets. Sometimes quality sled dogs are available for sale to use as team dogs and/or lead dogs. Call or write and let us know what your needs are. Children love sledding! Joel has brought his sleds and dogs to the elementry schools, and given guided rides all afternoon on the frozen lake. Class by class, the children take their turns for a ride. The dogs can pull about four children at a time. The teachers have fun too! The summer of 2004 Joel and the dogs accepted a summer job with Alaska Icefield Expeditions in Skagway, Alaska. AIE gives sled dog tours on the Denver Glacier for guests from the cruise ships that dock in Skagway.
